Postbaccalaureate Fellows
Postbaccalaureate fellows interested in working at CARD for one to two years should apply to NIH's Postbaccalaureate Intramural Research Training Award (IRTA) program.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents.
- Applicants must meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- College graduates who received their bachelor's degree less than three years prior to the proposed start date.
- College graduates who received their bachelor's degree more than three years ago, but received their master's degree less than six months prior to the proposed start date.
- Students who have been accepted into a graduate, other doctoral, or medical school program and who have written permission from the school to delay entrance for up to one year to pursue a biomedical research project at NIH.
Postdoctoral and Visiting Fellows
Postdoctoral and visiting fellows interested in working at CARD should apply to the postdoctoral IRTA program or visit our job postings page.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents; non-US citizens are appointed as visiting fellows.
- Applicants must have a doctoral degree and no more than five years of relevant research experience upon receipt of their doctoral award.
